Staying Active as an Organization

How do we maintain our ACTIVE status as a GT student organization? IT’S EASY!!

1. Alcohol Policy and Drug Acknowledgment Form [download]

  • Must be filed with the Office of Student Involvement annually, or when officers or advisors change (which ever happens first).
  • This form is a way for the Office of Student Involvement to ensure that advisors and officers are aware of, and will adhere to the policy.
  • Failure to submit this form with will result in suspension of the student organization’s rights and privileges (Cyberbuzz, space reservations, etc.) until the form is received.

2. Officer Update Form [download]

  • Must be filed with the Office of Student Involvement annually, or when officers or advisors change (which ever happens first).
  • This form must be filled out in its entirety, because the information that you provide informs us of who to contact in case an issue arises concerning your organization. 
  • Before you submit it, double check to ensure that the information on the form is correct. We will post the officer and advisor contact info, as well as the organizational purpose on Cyberbuzz.
  • Failure to submit this form with will result in suspension of the student organization’s rights and privileges (Cyberbuzz, space reservations, etc.) until the form is received.

3. Membership Requirement

  • All students participating in extracurricular activities must be enrolled in a degree program, maintain at least six credit hours or be a co-op student, and not be on academic or disciplinary probation.
